Description

At ON DEMAND 2010, Xerox unveiled its new Color 800/1000 Presses. This introduction was part of a global launch that originated in December 2009, when Fuji Xerox first introduced this high-end digital color portfolio in Japan. This is the first time that Xerox has employed a fifth imaging station in a production color device. The new devices also change the competitive landscape and present Xerox with an internal positioning challenge. This article provides system vendors and print service providers with additional insight on the impact of these devices on the production color market.
