Kodak has announced a new platform for its next generation of NexPress products. Called SE, the platform offers improved quality and productivity through three new developments: a quality improvement process called the Intelligent Calibration System (ICS), quality and uptime improvements through next generation consumables and image development, and an advanced front-end using Adobe’s PDF Print Engine 2. The new offerings based on the SE platform are called the NexPress SE2500, the NexPress SE3000, and the top-of-the-line 120 ipm NexPress SE3600.
