Description

A Maine company, PRC Technologies, has announced a new toner product based on soybean oil called SoyPrint. The company has very optimistic expectations for this product and it has received significant interest since its announcement. Another company, Advance Image Resources, is also ready to launch toner resins based on soybean oil. The release of these products prompted us to look at the general area of bio-based toners to see what is available and what advantages do bio-based toners, especially soy, offer.
