| Print service providers have long wished for a cut-sheet production color digital print product with a format size significantly larger than 12” by 18”. Except for relatively slow, wide format digital color printers, there has been no widely-available solution. Mainstream toner-based products have not been available that address this desire for larger format. The advent of high-speed color inkjet head arrays capable of high quality output has opened up possibilities for a B2-format, cut-sheet inkjet-based product. This analysis presents InfoTrends’ view of what these new products should look like. |
